TASHI MANNOX identfies two main paths within the body of his Iconographic work. The first path is Tibetan Calligraphy which is based on the rigorous seventeen year training he underwent as a Kagyu Tibetan Monk. With the second path TASHI has developed a contemporary approach with his "Soulhouette" Project, this embodies Eastern and Western Art and Philosophical traditions.

Most of TASHI MANNOX’s art is created in Chinese ink, using traditional Japanese and Chinese brushes, although, for some smaller Sanskrit and Tibetan scripts, handmade bamboo pens are also used. All his paintings are applied to a ground-base of high quality, heavy, water-colour paper. Each painting is signed and sealed with the artist’s water tiger hallmark, in red, Japanese 'seal mud'.

TASHI MANNOX’s working process involves a fundamentally meditative approach, but he attributes the element of spontaneity in his work to "the Ultimate Mind", which, he believes, is as instrumental in shaping the final image as his brush.
